Hey, I am building the Freightliner DD with the 250 Cummins. What is a good color of spray bomb for the engine and what color should the trans be??

Many thanks, Mark

testors flat light aircraft grey ( i think) is close too...plus it can be bought anywhere (this is the base testors stuff you get at micheals/ac moore)

The Cummins Beige I got from Dupli-Color was way too dark; almost brown. I've had good luck with Tamiya Deck Tan XF-55.

It might be a little light, but I like it.

Also, Scale Finishes offers Cummins Beige.

Thanks all, Jim I have that Duplicolor stuff and it is very brown, I am just trying to get something close. Heck the box shows it in Cat Yellow!
