sjordan2 Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I was just adding a reply to a thread, and I decided that it didn't add anything to the conversation and I wanted to delete it. But I couldn't find a button that let me cancel the post. So I highlighted my entry copy and deleted it. Anyone else have this problem?
Harry P. Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 When I post something as a response, down in the lower right corner there are several words, the second of which is "delete" and that should allow you to delete a post. Correct. Skip, are you not seeing those links at the lower right of your posts?
sjordan2 Posted August 4, 2011 Author Posted August 4, 2011 (edited) Okay, now I see it, but only when I click on More Reply Options. Is this different than before, when you had to click on Add Reply to get a message window to write in? I also see it on my post AFTER it's been posted, but not before. Harry P. Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Weird. It works differently for me. I see two buttons (Multiquote and Quote)... and the other links are in light gray; they become black when I mouse over them.
sjordan2 Posted August 4, 2011 Author Posted August 4, 2011 test test test Nope, not in my composing window.
sjordan2 Posted August 4, 2011 Author Posted August 4, 2011 Okay, so I'm composing here and I decide I don't want to post it, but there isn't a cancel button. I have to post before I can delete.
Harry P. Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I thought you were talking about how to delete a post that you had already made. If you're still in the composing window, all you have to do is hit your browser "Back" button.
