rhs856 Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 I picked up the Iwata HP-CS set from Hobby Lobby, got everything set up and it all worked fine - until I hit the bleeder on the moisture trap. The trap is now leaking at the bleeder and I can get it to stop by pulling the bleeder down, but this is by no means a solution. Has anyone else had a similar problem with this plastic monstrosity? Is there a fix? Buying another moisture trap at this time is out of the question as I don't want to be a divorcé.
Harry P. Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Is it still under warranty? If so, there's your answer.

fatkidd Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 is this the moisture trap that you are referring to? http://www.coastairb...=FA-450&cat=306 if so, the bleeder is nothing more than a schraeder valve (like an inner tube, tire, etc). there is a possibility that it may be a little loose. harbor freight has one that will work with iwata airbrushes. it is a little linger than the iwata one, but as a secondary solution, should work just fine. otherwise, try to return it to hobby lobby or contact coastairbrush.com & they may be able to swap it out for you (don't quote me on that though). i love the moisture trap just before the airbrush...it eliminates any traces of moisture just before the airbrush.
