Exotics_Builder Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Originally we were supposed to be on vacation in Seattle and celebrating our 40th Wedding anniversary on Sunday. However, plans changed and vacation got deferred. Since Sunday was our anniversary, I thought I would go Saturday and help out. I am a member of C.A.R.S, GTR and Lake Michigan Model Car clubs. The C.A.R.S club was running the model show for the event. Saturday was sparse both in big cars and, especially, the models. Perhaps the morning rains and threat of more caused some to defer to Sunday. Anyway, I took some photos of the big cars and as I was leaving more were starting to show up. Thanks, Gerry This way to the album:
High octane Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Great photos Gerry, and thanks for posting. That '59 Bonneville convert just drives me WILD! There were more cars on Sunday as well as more model cars on display and more entries in the model car contest also. Next year will be the 40th Annual Pontiac-Oakland International Convention on July 17th thru the 21st. Mark your calendar as they are expecting cars from 40 states so far. As far as I know, C.A.R.S. in Miniature will be doing a model car contest at that event.
