tim08 Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 (edited) A quick redo. Started with a Pepto pink Bug. Plugged the wheel holes with poster tack and chromed. Did the frame flat black, silver and steel. Masked and chromed the bumpers and headlights. Painted the interior the body color, with black and silver details. Tried a gold base, clear red on the body. cleared with a couple coats of Future floor wax. Painted silver on the handles and window trim. My first try with the color and I like the result. I'll use that on a model in the future, for sure! Made a tiny Ohio plate with my printer. The window dropped a bit in the pics, wish I would've caught it but It's not noticeable in person.
