I bought a little container of Ken's Kustom Fuzzy Fur and don't get me wrong, I like the stuff. It's good for carpeting...but I want to get some flocking to do seats to make them look like cloth, and Ken's flocking isn't fine enough for upholstery. Anyone know of something? Thanks!

Dave can feel free to correct me if I am wrong but, the product he is talking about is billed as flocking powder instead of just flocking. I think it is billed that way because it is finer as Brodie requested. I use embossing powder as well for a lot of applications where flocking isn't appropriate..

Forget the flocking and use baking soda. It's as fine as it gets. Same process as flocking, but you'll want to spray a coat of primer over it if painting with enamel or paint it with laquer. Testors also makes a nice fabric spray that is very convincing.

Here's an interior sprayed with the fabric spray

Here's an interior I used baking soda on.

Here's a better photo that shows the texture of the fabric spray. I tried to edit and add it to my previous post, but no luck. The fabric spray comes in red, blue, black, gray and tan.

I have to agree with Dave as I have tried the Martha Stewart line and it works great. Of course, no matter which type of flocking you use a lot of how it looks is how you apply it as well.
