Can someone please explain the body parts of cars that people are always making changes too when the are working on their projects. Some of us are not car savy like a lot of you modelers . Where are the pillars, rocker panels and things such as this. Thanks for any help and maybe a drawing showing these things would help . Brian Pardue

Here is a chart showing the major body parts of a car. Rocker Panels can be accented with add-on panels called Side Skirts (which normally are installed to make a car appear lower, along with front and rear "Lips" to make "Ground Effects"). Also some people call the Quarter Panels "rear fenders" but Fenders are the front panels on either side of the hood only. Just like it is incorrect to call Fenders "front quarter panels". I hope this helps some, if you have any questions feel free to ask :)

Turbo that abviously took you a little while to throw together. I'd like to thank you for taking the time to help a brother out, so to speak. Well done.

Don't forget the Tulip Panel between the bottom/rear of the rear window and the front edge of the trunk...

And the Header Panel in front of the leading edge of the hood, (think 1st generation Camaro).

thanks for this great diagram ,, question-Is there a specific name for the panel behind the hood that often has the air vents and wipers attached to it?
