Skydime Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 I was at a local hospital frequenting the forum on my iphone's wi-fi the other day and noticed that there was a link to an iphone app at the bottom of the page. Unfortunately, their guest internet was horrible, I lost connection, and could not find it again...and still cannot Is there an iphone app for the forum of some sort? Or maybe just for the system on which the forum runs?
scalenut Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 possibly a mobile version for better phone browsing ?
Gregg Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 There is/was a mobile phone skin that works, or I should say worked before. I tried it with the Ipod Touch, and was able to view the forum, sans a lot of the bells and whistles
Mooneyzs Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I browse alot with my Droid Charge... just type in www.modelcarsmag.com and it comes up with a mobile version on my phone and if you want you can switch over to a full version on it too.
Skydime Posted September 3, 2011 Author Posted September 3, 2011 (edited) Yeah, I got in the site but, I had never seen that at the bottom before. Unfortunately, I can't use the skin because I am too lazy to jailbreak my phone. My wife has an iPhone 4 and she has a program (uh, app) that does that without jailbreak. Thanks for the information Gregg and Chris. Edited September 3, 2011 by Skydime
Dr. Cranky Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 For a minute I though you mean an APP for making models. Actually, it would be great to have an app that lets you paint different car models to see right off how they would look. Paintbooth APP! If it doesn't exist, Doctor Cranky calls first dibs!

Agent G Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 For a minute I though you mean an APP for making models. Actually, it would be great to have an app that lets you paint different car models to see right off how they would look. Paintbooth APP! If it doesn't exist, Doctor Cranky calls first dibs! I'd like to see an app that allows this. HD has a similar app on the new bike part of their site. You click on a model, say Road King, then you can point to the colors offered and "see" what the bike will look like. Same same with wheel options. If I recall you also have a 360 view of certain models. Now that would be fun applied to model cars. G

I didn't used to like them at all and refused to break over to one (still choose Microsoft Zune as my MP3 player) until I figured out how to make my own ringtones.

Skydime Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 (edited) The only smart phone (other than a Blackberry Pearl that I never used for internet) that I had previously was an HTC Aria that had Droid. I must say, that was a pretty nice setup...except the speakerphone volume was practically nonexistent. Edited September 5, 2011 by Skydime
