What's With the Links?

While scrolling through a subject, 'a man's bets friend' in Harry's sig is an external link. So is the word 'paycheck' in another post on the same topic, and in the 'General' page, the word 'started' is a link. They all go to ads for dumb stuff. What gives?

That's weird. I typed the words into my sig, there can't be an embedded link. And like Gregg, I don't see those links. Very strange..
