How to better detail 1972 GTO

I was wondering if anybody has a idea to make MPC 72 GTO into a better model. So far I`m using the chassic from the MPC olds. And it looks better than whats in the kit. What looking for is how would I make under the hood area better. And any other things that you think would make a better model let me know.

Google! Search for 1972 GTO, engine, wires, anything you can think of and save the pictures. Study them from several angles know and love the machine!

IMO good reference material is the best place to start. Check out Ebay auctions, image searching with Google, or actual print books(from places like motorbooks.com) are my favorites.
