Car Modeler ran a cartoon once showing a guy being hauled off to the looney bin, as one of the paramedics explains to the other, "he tried to bare metal foil a '58 Impala!"

great job, Nick, it's really going to be a nice one.

First off thank you Ontario Tony's, thank you Jim, and thank you Mike

That paint looks awesome Nick. What are you using for primer, paint and polishing materials?

Tony

Thanks Tony

This car had Plasti-kote Mr.Spray Red Oxide Primer (M-19), Duplicolor Automotive Laquer Dodge Flash Red (DSCC351), Duplicolor Acrylic Crystal Clear (CDA1692) and I gave it one good polishing with Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0 (G10307C)

all of which I either got at Canadian Tire or Parts Source, maybe Parts Man, can't remember where I got the Plasti-kote

Looks great, Nick.

I gotta say, your building has improved incredibly in the past year or so. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Tony, I really appreciate comments like yours, it makes me want to progress farther, and learn new things and of course try ned products and techniques as I go.

The interior looks good, Nick. The engine, too. While the generator bracket is a bit thick, it is a lot better than it sticking out in mid-air!!

Thanks guys, did a bit more, getting very close now, can almost see it now. Finished the engine, added the trim pieces to the nose and glued the tailights in at last nights club meet.
