Is there any way to visually indentify on the box cover, if a AMT Kenworth T-519 kit has a "torsion" rear suspension? Some being sold online are still wrapped in plastic, and the sellers obviously does'nt want to open it. Thanks!

Hello

If you look on the side of the box it is mentioned that the kit has torsion bar.

The other issues also state that the kit has hendrickson suspension.

Another clue if the logo has AMT/ERTL on the front cover of the box it is definitely not a torsion bar kit.

Hope this helps. Daniel Gailloux

torssion bar rear suspension came in 2 truck kits that i know about...the challenger mixer, the k-123 cab-over first issue..

The first issues of the W925 Kenworth (Watkins) had the torsion bar suspension as well. The later issues were sold with the walking beam.

why dont we do this since i see these questions all the time is create a master list that (i know it can be done since i know theres a few people out there that has every single kit made) of what kits have what suspensions and what kits have what engines?
