Guest Anthony Oteri Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 This is my latest build, a Ford LTS Mixer.
SpreadAxle Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Quick question Anthony. The wet tank you use on a lot of your dump tractors, is it made from a battery box? It sort resembles a Freightliner battery box from the Testors/Italeri/Revell AG kits. It looks good. When I saw the black Ford LTS on your fotki it reminded me to ask you about that.
Old Albion Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Anthony, This looks great. The finish on your trucks really is impressive, very clean, neat, good colour combinations and great ideas. Is that a pressure gauge I see on the hydraulic tank? Superb Truck!!
Turbo590 Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Anthoy, I'm really impressed !! The orange paint job is outstanding. along with all of the other details. This is one of my more favorite builds you have done. Keep up the good work... Kurt McLucas

mackinac359 Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 It looks like it just drove out of the 1970 Ford Louisville Line brochure ! Tim
Guest Anthony Oteri Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 It looks like it just drove out of the 1970 Ford Louisville Line brochure ! Tim Funny you should say that. This was the photo that gave me the idea for building it. I was going to paint it yellow but I couldn't choose which shade of yellow. Orange was my second choice. Thanks Tim.
SpreadAxle Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Almost a carbon copy. What country is this brochure from? Looks Swedish or German or something.
Old Albion Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 This could be a little competition. Guess the country. I think its Germany.
Guest Anthony Oteri Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 It's Dutch. Yea it's Dutch. Too bad there ain't no prize for the correct answer :!:
SpreadAxle Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Dutch seems right. I should've asked my girlfriend first, because she's German. She could've eliminated that one for me.
Jim B Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Not like I can speak Dutch. I only know this because I saw the brochure! http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thsca...ord_louisville/
