Hey guys, here is my one my newest builds I have started, like most everyone else I love smokey and the bandit movies. But for some reason I never got around to building any of the trans am. Well last week I decided I wanted to build bandits trans am, and that snowballed into me wanting to build all three trans am for the three movies.

I have found the kit to use for the third movie, going to use a old mpc 82 firebird, now I just need to find a 79/80 trans am

So here is the build for the 77 trans am from part one.

Thanks DR. , now if I can stop having bad luck with painting the body I would be happy. I dont know what is going on, but I am having nothing but problems. I have three different types of black paint and all are causing problems.

Its a diecast, I am waiting on the decals so I can finish it

Ok, I found it, it's a Welly, 1/24 diecast and comes in stock and police versions. Pretty cheap too! I found one for 10.00!

Well after a little over a week and about six trips to the purple bath to strip the paint, and after four different types of paint, I think I have managed to get a decent paint job I can live with. I still need to clear it but giving it time to dry and gas out.
