70 BOSS 429

Here is another one that I finished up earlier this year. This one is right out of the box with one exception. It's the classic Revell 1070 Boss 429. I did change out the blank sidewall tires for the same ones with the Goodyear lettering that the older issues had. I built this one just like the old one I built over 20 years ago that I still have. This one was somewhat of a quick build.

Here is the old one. The body was airbrushed with a custom mix of testors white and blue to get the color close to grabber blue. It also only has BMF on the hood. The white interior was airbrushed but all the black was brushpainted. It looks pretty good from back then and is one of my better builds from back in the day. I don't have any side by side photo's but I could take some.

The new one is painted with Testors model master spray in Grabber Blue.

Sweet looking Mustang!!! My favorite body style Stang!

Takes me back to 1979 and a 70 I had in the blue.

Just a plain jane Mustang but equipped with a 4V 351 Cleveland 3 speed manual! I added the spoiler and a Boss 429 replica scoop.
