monkeyclaw Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Marty; R/C hobby on Meridian St in HSV is your best bet...the hobbytown over by university doesn't carry much plastic at all. The only swap meet In the area is the vendor section at the HSV model show last week....and the model show up in murfreesboro is usually pretty good for buying stuff...Welcome to Alabama...get used to internet shopping!!! Matt
Dr. Cranky Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Marty, if you are new to Alabama and you are interested in all things model cars, you need to get a hold of Tommy May or Tim Kustom and check out their club.. They put on a great show every year.
Dr. Cranky Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Of course, I don't know how far Decatur is from Birmingham.
mytricia Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 Of course, I don't know how far Decatur is from Birmingham. i think it is abot 75-100 miles south.i'm at the nortern part of alabama.
Dr. Cranky Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 You should still make contact though, and try to attend a show. You will be impressed by the friendly folks and the great show.
