Auto Paint help

Hey all, i have this can of paint laying around that i would like to use. the paint is from 1993 (label says) and was wondering if this is still useable? i know i need a hardener and clear coat but do the stuff they make now a days work on this old paint? thanks

Ifyou knowthe brand and if it is a lacquer paint all you need is lacquer thinner. I wouldn't know for sure but any hardener may work. For the clear though eurothene clear would work over it.

Try the paint on some spoons and see if it works...Good Luck....and Cheers...

Stir it up and see what it looks like, if its lumpy and won't smooth out then I wouldn't use it.

The base doesn't use a hardener, only the clear, and any urethrae clear should work on it.
