Pete L. Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Folks, Can anyone tell me if there was ever an MGA kit (early sixties) offered in 1/25-1/24 scale ? I'm pretty sure there was a 1/32 scale kit produced a good while ago by I can't recall the manufacturer Thanks, Pete L.
sjordan2 Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 (edited) I only know of the 1/32 versions, but Revell made a 1:18 diecast that's impossible to find. Lindberg made the 1/32, which was intended as a curbside slot car. http://www.model-car...product=rr8443g Edited October 10, 2011 by sjordan2
jbwelda Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 those SE Finecast kits are great depending on level of detail (i forget what the A is like) but run 125+ if i remember right. nice MGTF too...
Mike Kucaba Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 There was a 125/24 MGA by Strombecker. I recently saw one on ebay.
Pete L. Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 (edited) Fellas, Thanks for the info, I was unaware of most of these kits ! Does any one have a beater they might want to part with prefferably in 1/24-1/25 scale ? All I really need is the body and the hood. Edited October 11, 2011 by Pete L.
sjordan2 Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Check these out: http://www.sefinecas...%20Page%202.htm They don't have prices for them on their price list so I am not sure if they are still available. Contact them to be sure. Their current price lists show the MGAs are not available.
Greg Myers Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Lindberg on E-Bay now :http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-LINDBERG-MODEL-KIT-MGA-1600-SPORTS-CAR-1-32nd-scale-/120791937344?pt=UK_ToysGames_ModelKits_ModelKits_JN&hash=item1c1fc2b140
sjordan2 Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 These are all 1/32 kits, discussed above. The OP wants a 1/24-1/25 kit.
Greg Myers Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Yes they are. That's all that comes to mind however.Sorry.
