Evil Appetite Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Just checking out some of Reliable resins great products and came across "Pro Touring" tires. What is Pro Touring?
Junkman Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Go to the forum at www.pro-touring.com. There is an entire thread on the subject of defining pro-touring. Essentially it is taking an old muscle car and upgrade it to modern performance standards in terms of handling, braking, power, and creature comforts, while leaving the outer sheetmetal pretty much stock.
Evil Appetite Posted October 13, 2011 Author Posted October 13, 2011 Ahh, take an old car, make everything under the sheet metal modern, performance and handling-wise but leave the outside appearance origional. Great site, took me no time to find the definition. Thanks\!
Dr. Cranky Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Oh-oh, it sounds like what I am currently doing to my new build in progress . . .
crazyjim Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 By those definitions, I think I've been building pro-tour for a long, long time and didn't even know it.
Ramcharger Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Someone who goes on museum tours and gets paid for it?
