revell 48 ford custom - painted and cleared

More or less a box stock build, tail dragger style. with a few machined parts to be added along the way. im not sure if im gonna use the kit supplied hub caps or machine a set of my own

Since all of the tree builds of this kit ive seen so far have been some shade or another of red, ive decided to buck the trend and paint it...

the paint is a dupont hue, Acadia green metallic and its sprayed over a duplicolour Candy base coat silver base, i will eventually clear everything with pro form 2 part urethane clear.

and remember kids, RUST is the ENEMY.

This looks very interesting! This will be very clean Custom when it gets finished. Great, and about rust... I prefer shiny and clean cars, but rusty Rat Rod for example, can be looking good too. But shiny is the best.
