Rob Hall Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I went to a nice little car event at Laguna Seca Raceway in California this past weekend. Saw a lot of interesting Porsches. Some incredible historically significant race cars there. More pics here: http://public.fotki.com/robertwadehall/rennsport-reunion-iv/
simonr Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I took part of the last one at Daytona in 2007, where they also had a Racing Porsches model cars contest and I was lucky enough to get the Best of Show award with my 1/43 Porsche 962C. That show is awesome, not just only for the amount of Porsches you can see, but, for the historic racers and their pilots. Iike I told, I had the honor to meet and take a picture together with Brian Redman and Derek Bell. The amount of real cars, books, 1/43 die cast models, any kind of memorabilia, the track, the autograph session, etc worth indeed the trip. I would like to have in time more info on this past weekend's event and maybe would be there, but, the info never reach our modeling forums and it couldn't be. I'm very happy the vent was not dead and that will be celebrating again. By the way, great pictures. Simón P. Rivera Torres
