Most of the time I just smooth and paint the inside of the roof. Usually flat white so it reflects the most light onto the interior. To bring the detail up a little more, I'll put in a few ribs made from small Evergreen half round stock and also install sunvisors and maybe a dome light if desired. For a custom look the ribs could be foiled after painting. Other ideas (that I haven't done yet) might be to add grab handles or use some uphostelry pattern decals from Scalemotorsport.com to add a simulated texture.

Hi Ray, I am new to the forum, my name is Ron, and this will be my first post. I just ran across this last week and have not had a chance to see how well it works. Sounds good though

I have found a great way to make headliners, hood insulation, or blower blankets. First, obtain a plain, white, non-quilted paper towel (not too thick!). Lay this on or over the part you want covered, then liberally wet it with a mix of water (30%) and white glue (70%). Let this dry for a full day, gently remove from the part, trim to size, paint with a flat paint, and then reattach to the model!!
