hi everyone i am currently doing a 67 charger but i would like some help with the detailing of the dash .

if someone has already done this type of dash and could post a few pics i would be more then thankful hope someone can help

I already had a pic from when i built one. I'll admit this is a tough one to do well. I don't have any pics of mine or recall doing the dash. I'd recommend some careful detailing with a brush or a fine point silver Sharpie.

thanks mate i just really wanted to see how other ppl have done theres so i can get a rough idea

You can get the exact idea by looking at the real thing, not at what others have done (possibly incorrectly!)

That "chrome" trim strip across the top of the dash shouldn't be there. The lower chrome strip (that wraps around the steering column) is correct, but the upper one doesn't exist. Also, the gauge faces should be a matte silver or light gray.

thanks peps i just did it with a really small brush and lots of holding my breath. I will sort that part out today thanks for putting me straight will upload as soon as i done it thanks again

I probly would have alcladed the entire thing and then filled the low black areas with thinned down paint but that's because I dont have the patience to try to paint all those thin silver lines. But it does look really good.
