S. Svendsen Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 These are the models that were built for the upcoming re-issue of the Funny Hugger II Camaro kit. I built the pearl white one "out of the box" and Larry Henley built the orange one. He added some wheels and parts from a Polar Lights funny car kit and is representative of what you can do with this kit with a little extra work. I am working on the box art now. This kit will probably be released in the fall.
RyanSilva Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Awesome, great that the kit comes with the panel job decals. Im buying this just for the American Standards 4 slot wheels..
Jim Kampmann Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Great job on the models and photos, Sean. Love the decals too! Jim Kampmann
S. Svendsen Posted May 25, 2007 Author Posted May 25, 2007 Here's the final box art and decals for the Model King 69 Camaro funny car. I was shooting for a vintage '70s feel with this one. I hope you guys like it.
crispy Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Sean, AWESOME work! I cannot wait for this to come out as well. Your box art alone makes me buy these. I've never built one yet, but I love the Art. I'll build one some day though. Thanks for sharing! Chris
RJWood Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 That looks great! Cool box art. and 2 sheets of decals. Excuse me, I gotta go get a napkin and wipe my mouth.
ismaelg Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 simply WOW! I will finally contribute to the Model Kings efforts! That's the first MK issue I "must have".
Modellpularn Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Wow, that kit is worth buying for the decals alone! I happened to have the original Funny Hugger II, but it was missing the original decals, so I sold it on ebay about a year ago. If you swap the front wheels for some narrow Halibrands with smaller tires, then you could be onto something...
Mike Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Being a fan of 69 Camaro's, I may have to get this one.
David Burket Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 They are on there way and will be here tomorrow morning....just in time for Fall Carlisle..YES!!!! After the delivery I'm heading there...and for those of you that will be there I'll be in space IH 107.. Thanks Dave
