The Modeling Hermit Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 (edited) This is a 70 Torino Cobra(ish) that I built a short time ago. It's wired and plumbed, but I wish that I'd used aluminum tubing for the exhaust. The plastic was too thick to suit me for the side marker lights, so I drilled them out. Watch when sanding the tires; the tread is really thin. I just used a light scuff. The hood isn't sitting flat in this picture as I wasn't completely done with the underhood at photography time. Keef Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 looks pretty good, i like that color, i only have 1 tiny nit to pick about the engine though you have the coil wire running to the vacuum advance cannister(circled in red) when it should be running to the top of the distributor(blue spot)
The Modeling Hermit Posted October 28, 2011 Author Posted October 28, 2011 I'd caught that and fixed it already. I had a good laugh too.
Dr. Cranky Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Nice looking model, wish the pictures were a little bit better to do it justice.
Haubenschild Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Looks great ! , what colour did you paint it
