Hi everyone

Well I took some advise of a fellow modeler by showing what I have on the bench and here is one of those projects.

http://public.fotki....-window-32.html

I thought ways to do this kit and what colors will be,But I haven't come to that bridge yet.But I want to do this a simple way,not to much detail and have some fun with it,I had to clean the mock-up first and get rid of all those nasty mold marks  that came with the kit.and here is the mock-up.

I really didn't use any glue at this time just use some tape to hold the structure together.

This is all for now I will have to get some part of the interior done of all what I want to be done with besides paint. Still not sure which way i go????

This is the kit he's working on, it's a 2-Door Sedan:

This is a 5 Window: (Snagged from a post by excesivefire)

Technically the 2-door sedan does have 5 windows, though...

O.k. folks

I been working on the project when I have free time but this is my update on what I am doing to it. first of all the mock-up is very minor.I do want to keep it simple and not get to into aftermarket lots this time around,And have fun with it.But I did found out something. I didn't like about the kit that i had to fix,to me it was a flaw to it and it was the fenders where the front bar goes in place where the fenders have a large gap where the front bar rest as I show in this picture.

http://public.fotki....aiting-how.html

I use styrene to fill up the gap

http://public.fotki....-in-gap-to.html

later I will make new slots for this much tighter than original's were,I also took liberty of separating the shock towers away from the shocks and assembled to the chassis as I feel they are part of the chassis, make it the same color as the chassis as I show

http://public.fotki....ing-shocks.html

I tell you one thing <_< there is lots of mold marks in this kit had to clean all my parts including the fenders

http://public.fotki....ections-in.html but I got them done picture not shown, maybe later I will when I start to paint on the project but I did clean up all the chrome and here this how I am started to do

this is where I stand for now, still don't know what colors to paint it :wacko: .

thanks for looking B)
