Semi Trailer Mechanic Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I used Microsoft Word. Open a blank page. Experiment with differet fonts, font sizee and spacing keep in mind the "WINGDING" fonts have images that may work out for your logo. You can also insert images and adjust the size. When you get an image you're content w/ print it on normal paper and see if that's worthy then save the image. To make multiples just copy and paste as many as you need adjust them to the file page where you want them printed on your decal paper then again print it on paper and see if every things going to fit before printing on decal paper. Once you're ready then print all logos on your decal paper. Allow to dry overnight then clear coat and allow to dry overnight.
dabelltoller Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 When I say what I got I mean ms paint a kodac photoshop and hp photoshop. Now I also have a scanner so I can print everything to size and scan as a group to print as a hole. I'm doing this from my iPhone so hopefully Im making sence

eviltwincustoms Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Best bet for you is to use Google and Youtube. There are plenty of videos on how to use the different programs, if you just do a search you will pull up what you need. That is how I learned how to use Adobe Photoshop Elements and how to make bullet holes and shadows.... very cool.
Semi Trailer Mechanic Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Ok so came home open a Microsoft blank document placed logo there and tried changing size when I clicked on fonts then objects and it didn't work to well I'm new to this So can you give meca quick run down ad what to do To adjust the size of an inserted pic, clip art,ect.. Click and drag an edge. Dragging away from the pic will enlargen and dragging towards the pic will reduce. To access fonts and adjust font size hold these keys all at once. Ctrl Shift P
eviltwincustoms Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 There are multiple ways to adjust font size in Word. As Scott stated you can do (Ctrl+shift+p) and a pop up box will come up. Or you can highlight the word(s) and right click and a Font Box will come up above the word you are working with. Something else you can do, and will be much better from like a color and style standpoint is use the "Insert" Tab and Insert Word Art. From here you can add Txt, add shadowing.... run the word diagonally or which ever direction your hear desires. Then to adjust the size, this is like a picture, just click on the image and drag the corner in or out to resize.
