Scale-Master Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 For a while mine were coming with the back cover and a few pages literally shredded, every time for several months. Lately they have been in good condition, but for a while every issue was damaged. And like you point out Harry, it was the only piece of mail that was not in good condition.
Guest Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Harry, that's what I've been saying for some time, but every time I mention it, I get blasted to smithereens. I have the same problem. Rarely does any of my other mail arrive damaged.
Chuck Most Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 That's why I buy it from my hobby shop. No mangled covers, no dog-eared pages- if the mag ends up ripped to shreds its nobody's fault but mine. Yeah, it's more expensive buying each issue than getting a subscription, but that means Golden Bell is making more money off me, right?
sjordan Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Here in East Tennessee, I have never received a damaged MCM. It arrives newsstand-perfect every time.
jeffs396 Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 This issue was the first of my two year subscription. Arrived in perfect condition! Thanks to all involved for a great issue. Looking forward to the next
Sixx Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Harry, I'd bet it's them darn " gorillas" in the Chi-town post office. Either that or somebodys readin yer mag before you! If magazines are like kits, the hobby shop pays less than cover price. Case in point, my hobby shop charged me about almost 30 for the 53 Hudson. I saw the form when they ordered it for me, they paid 17 for it. Mobius gets paid the same whether the hobby shop charges 18, or 30 bucks for it.

FASTBACK340 Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 The primates in my local post office beat the Hell out of my mail on a daily basis. <bastards!>
