Uncle Keith Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Hi! Gareth, I can't help with production quantities. But I can add to your list of Signature Series kits. These are kits I have. Kuhl & Olson "Da Revell Fast Guys" T/F "California Charger" AA/FD Tony Nancy "The Loner" AA/FD Roland Leong's "Hawaiian" F/C I don't know for certain if the Beebe & Muligan AA/FD, Tom McEwen "Revellution" F/C, "ChiTown Hustler" F/C, or Don Prudhomme's "Army" Vega F/C were ever Signature Series cars, but they were all 1/16 Revell kits. There was also a Gene Snow "Snowman" Vega F/C. I have the re-issue of these kits, except the Pruhomme "Army" car. It's an origanal issue. Hope this helps. I'm sure someone will come along with a more precise answer.
Uncle Keith Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Thanks Paul! I forgot about the M/T Grand Ams and I have the red and yellow versions. No Marines version tho'. There is another kit that wasn't mentioned, "Revell's Jungle Jim". I just saw this posted here. There is a Tom McEwen rear-engine dragster also. Thanks! Have A Great Day!

I was suposed to of said - what did the number of signature kits go up to i.e 25 etc, I wouldnt expect anyone ( not even revell ) to know how many over all was produced and sold. Thanks for the info so far guys its a great help. Just found an old pic from the 70s that my dad took of some of the kits he built. I can see that he owned the garlitts swap rat, jeb allen prayin mantis, K&O da revell fast guys , MT's Yellow grand am and the Gene Snow Vega. Thanks once again Regards Gareth Edited November 20, 2011 by NitroJunky
Modelmartin Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I just happened to run across my Revell '75-'76 catalog and lo and behold there are the Signature Series 1/16th kits. You can harvest the full size scans from my Fotki sight. Enjoy!
Mooneyzs Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Thise are some cool posters. Thanks for sharing.
NitroJunky Posted November 21, 2011 Author Posted November 21, 2011 Thanks for the info guys most gratefull. 1/25th & 1/16th would explain the higher numbers in the series. Did all the signature series kits come with a model of the driver? Reason being i have 2 re-isue 25th scale kits of Jeb Allens red Prayin Mantis. I will have to go through all my kits as i may have some that signature series and not know about it as i wasnt aware they come in 25th scale aswell
