Is their a paint for this that would make the clear look like tinted orange??Also same thing with the turn signals on the ends of the headlights. If i paint it orange from the inside i still dont think it would look right???Any of you guys know a good paint to use for this?I see they have transparent arcylics is this what i use??? ewaskew
Testor's in the bottle has amber paint. If you ca'nt get any you can try several shade's of orange and yellow sharpie marker's on a piece of clear scrap=part's tree. untill you get the color you want. whale392
Tamiya clears seem to work for the vast majority, including me.
ffreak
I used to use Testors model master paints for those but now I use the Tamiya clear orange, red and yellow. I try to use bare metal foil as a backing for them to give the proper reflection.

Pete J.
You can get the Tamiya paints in either rattle can or bottle. The rattle cans are lacquers and dry very quickly and have a very hard surface. The bottles are water based acrylics and take longer to dry and are not as durable. I use the rattle cans for larger lenses and acrylics for smaller spaces like a dash board light. dptydawg
I use glass stain for lenses. |t works well over chrome lenses and over silver paint otherwise. I mix yellow- orange for amber. Carl
