So It's been awhile since I've been here, and it's been along time since I've been to the bench. But recently I got back to building and I just wanted a quick build. It is tamiya's Mazda eunos(miata). I built it box stock. I painted it with tamiya acrylic sky blue, which was shot through my new airbrush. It's not perfect, but it was a fun quick build to get me back to building.

Got them wipers up so they don't freeze to the window there huh.....better put that top up or things might be interesting come morning  I'm sorry Jared I'm just teasing you bud and besides the wipers being up like that this thing looks great. These little cars will flat get it in the twisties....I have a lot of friends autocrossing and doing scca events in Miata's

The Mariner Blue looks great in scale! Thanks for the inspiration--I've just recently gotten back into building and am itching to build up the Aoshima NB kit to match my 1:1.

Great looking Miata

Cool lil car if your under 5'10" LOL..

Very popular on the Race track for Club Racers..

But the Miata just doesn't look Happy or it sniffed too many paint fumes?

or is that Cheech if he was a car?

if ever a car deserved to have a happy face, the Miata is it. big risk when Mazda took the leap and it STILL sells relatively well....

and that's a very nice build in a very accurate color.... nice job!

Great build and a great car. But then I'm biased, here's a replica of my 1998 NB

I was thinking the same thing as soon as I saw that picture - I assumed it was huffing high octane petrol, though.

Nice little build - I miss the old hidden-headlight Miata days.
