My son is on his way from Alaska to Japan and it will be to much for him to call home on his phone , will he get charged if we call him ?

I don't know anything about international calling Walt, but are you talking about using lineline phones or cell phones??

You will have to check and see what each of your calling plans state.

You could always Skype, too.

Walt , many cell plans will charge an international fee. The AT & T plan I had would . I dropped them for a another company as I only have one contact in Ireland and we chat on da puter ............Ed Shaver
