diymirage Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 hi Jacob, welcome aboard there are a few tricks to get the front (or rear) end of a car to sit just the way you like it there are many guys on here who tinkle with it instead of using the kits ride height, depending on the type of car they are building ive never build the kit you have so its hard to give the best anwser but if you post some pics of the front suspension components id be more then happy to give you my opinion on it
manymodels Posted November 28, 2011 Author Posted November 28, 2011 after i get new rims for the drift stang ill probally heat up the suspention to melt it a lil i was just woundering if anyone has had the same prob
Rick Schmidt Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 There are a couple of screw tabs un there that prevent the engine bay and interior from tucking up into the body correctly. Ya gotta shave them down. You also have to make the hood lift off by removing its hinges. If ya look under the open hood I'm sure theres a gap between your fendersa and engine bay. Looking inside the body you should see those screw tabs. I can't remember exactly where they are just remember they are there and that was how I fixed my 68.
diymirage Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 i wouldnt suggest melting the suspension, there have got to be better ways then that look into the tabs Rick mentioned and if that doesnt work well think of something else
