Resin mid 60's Chevy long bed sides

I think I remember someone talking about casting long fleetside bed sides for the Revell 65 kit. Did this happen? Thanks in advance.

There were some available years ago from either John Heyer Resin or Model Cars and Parts- they were pretty much direct repops of the SMP/AMT kit parts.

I used the parts on the AMT cab- they seem just an eensy-teensy bit smaller than whatever scale the new-tool AMT kit is (1:25), so they're just a bit smaller than that assuming the AMT kit is scaled correctly. Not sure how they'd work in the Revell kit.

Making the 8' bed from the '64 Revell Chevy parts is on my project list, but it may be awhile

All-American Models did the separate bed sides, floor, and a lengthened chassis when the Revell kit was released.

Don't know of any others made specifically for that kit. Your best bet is to try and adapt one of the AMT-based long box resin conversion kits.

I think I'll get a second kit and stretch them myself. I was going to do the floor in wood so its not an issue.
