That's looking very nice Jamie.

Also, just to help you out, if you use the IMG code for your pics, they will show up in the post like this:

Have you picked out the fenders yet? If not, Eric @ P&P Vintage Kits and Resin Works offers some nice full fenders. He posts here under the screenname Porky and here is a link to his website:

I bought a set of his full fenders (part # RF1) and I'm very pleased with them. :D

Classy two tone you have there. By the way, are the wheels aluminum, I don't see the nuts with the studs. I like the traction tires out back, Neeto!

Jamie...

Awesome on the Photobucket (thing)

The aluminum fenders will rock...looking forward to seeing it in person on the next visit.

I like the way this truck looks so far.

Eye cacthing two tone paint sheme, aluminum rear fenders and aluminum headache rack, what you need is a beal tanker to pull!

I will have an eye on this one for sure, keep the good work coming.

Kostas.

Thanks for that pic but what I meant was in the kit are there the 2 different sleeper roofs to chose from or did you have to modify the tall roof?

Hey Justin, all Jamie did, to get the roof the way you see it, was to leave off the top most portion or "air dam". It's designed to where it rests on the body lines and blends in with the rest of the roof. You can think of it as an option in the kit as nothing special is needed.

Thanks Ben, My buddy ron is building a lonestar also and he is using the roof airdamn but has a tall trailer to go with it , I'm thinkin more like a beall tanker like Kostas said I'll have to dig around to see if I have 1 , On the headache toolbox it just plastic covered with bare metal foil, looks way better in pics , I think I got it from Kurt or Ben not sure but its nice !

Love the job on the Lonestar btw. What colours did you pick there? The blue almost looks like a "cobalt blue met" or something, none the less it is a very sharp looking truck. As for the small wing on the top, I dont know is anyone is casting one in resin, but i do believe that the Italeri 378 peterbilt has the exact "whale tale" wing in it and from some of the builds I have been seeing it doesnt seem to be a popular piece to use in that kit. Also, completly agree with a nice chrome tanker behind that truck, it would really finish it off, and maybe with a shirter set of stacks on it, but just my opinion. Once again amazing build A+ on the worksmanship!
