Jesse D Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I have a 1/18 scale Die cast Motormax 58 Impala convertible. I have turned this car in to a fully shaved kustom A$$ dragger. It looks awesome as it site but there's a huge problem. The ugly 5th wheel or continental kit is on the back and the bumper sticks out in the middle and looks rediculous. I really want to cut it off but I am not sure how to go about putting the bumper back together once I have cut it. This is the one I have.
JamesW Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 (edited) The only option I can think of is find a replacement bumper, without the booty kit. Edited November 29, 2011 by grimreaper
Dr. Cranky Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Or you can do something interesting by filling up the space where the tire goes and I don't know, just make it smooth . . .

Jesse D Posted November 30, 2011 Author Posted November 30, 2011 I could always paint the trim silver.
1957dodgeregent Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 i usually just cut the wheel off and then cut the bumber where it junctures , then glue the cut out(middlepart) back in, smoothe it down, and paint it testors crome metalfake.
