rmvw guy Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Looks good! I say keep going on it and post the progress. I like the style.
henry57 Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 I think it looks really good, is it completely scratch built? No way I wouldn't finish it
kennb Posted December 4, 2011 Author Posted December 4, 2011 Like all my projects it is indeed scratch built. I use no commercial parts for anything I build. KennB

John Goschke Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 I think your admirable fabrication skills would be better invested in doing a station wagon conversion on AMT's fine '53 Studebaker kit. Unless you're a masochist, of course, in which case you could certainly burn it and start over from scratch.
Pete J. Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Ah, grasshopper, everything teaches us something. Follow it through and you will be a better modeler for it, reguardless of how it looks when you are done.
kennb Posted December 5, 2011 Author Posted December 5, 2011 The big problem with the studebaker kit is that the station wagon used entirely different tooling. It is stubbier and taller so there are no common parts that can be used. The Starlight coupe was unique in the tooling.........lets see what transpires with this. Mat redo the sides so they have a better look to them. KennB
