Nate Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 (edited) I definitley like the second set of wheels best, but as Roger said, buid it how you like it. For comparison, here's a 67 (front grill and fenders, not sure about the rest of the truck, since it's a custom): Here's a 69: Here's a 71/72: Edited January 24, 2012 by Nate
W-409 Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 That's looking much better with these wheels. That's really cool pickup overall, that stance is just perfect. Pro Street Pickups are quite rarely seen, maybe I should start one, I have one new Ford Pickup, and one S10 Pickup, I'm just not sure about that Chevy, though. I might trade it to some other model...
tyrone Posted January 24, 2012 Author Posted January 24, 2012 Thanks for all the feedback fellas, my dad used to have a 67 C/10 with the small back window window, that black truck in those pics is a beast.... any more pics of it...
tyrone Posted January 24, 2012 Author Posted January 24, 2012 I think I'm going to use the steelies on this one for what I have planned I think, they will look the best on here, I put the stepside on hold for now because I plan on widening the rear fenders a little.. thanks again fellas....
Bartster Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Actually, the fenders DID change in '68 as that's when side marker lamps were incorporated. Other than the markers '67 & '68 were the same.
Guest Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 If you're going to go with the green and white Tyrone,I would suggest this color on the green. I'm not sure if this particular truck has the factory color, but Chevy had a green very close to this.
ItsThePaint! Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 here you go Tyrone. Don't know why, but I never got a pic of the motor. I painted it about 6 years ago.also don't know why the show pics are so small!!
