chuckyr Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Do they exist in a kit or does an aftermarket supplier have them?
b_lever1 Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 its alot of work but take two tires and splice into one remove one side wall from eash and zap (glue) back together depending onthe size you want it may take three tires
chuckyr Posted December 6, 2011 Author Posted December 6, 2011 its alot of work but take two tires I was asking about wheels, not the tires. I have a couple of sets of the old Clint Freeman Hi-Flotation tires that are perfect for Super Single tires. Now that I think about it, Plaskit offers some nice wheels and Kit Form Services offer some nice wheels.
kwtrucker Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Hey chuckyr, Another source you might want to try for super single wheels are made by MoLuminum. Here is a link to the supplier's website, Sourkraut Models. http://sourkrautsmod...&product_id=646 I have two sets of these wheels, and they are top notch, right up there with Clint's products. You have to buy the drive hubs (set of 4) as a separate part though. Link for the drive hubs; http://sourkrautsmod...&product_id=379 Doug
chuckyr Posted December 7, 2011 Author Posted December 7, 2011 I like those Jamie. They appear to be 1/24th scale, just what I need for an American Italeri tractor. Do you include the tires?
scale trucker Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 and if you check evil bay under resin truck there are some resin rubber super single tires that are correct to the new style 455/55/22.5 super single drive tires.
