AMT Truck and Trailer Kits

a big online hobby store dropped the prices on these

about a month ago to about $25 for the tractors and

$20 for the trailers

i think now or asap is the time to get one if you

like building truck models

they are Convoy era and Smoky and the Bandit era trucks

which is a plus if you like that era trucks otherwise it's

better than no truck kit at all

i would get the chrome tanker first because they'll run out of those first

You would be better off just getting the Freuhauf van and getting the aftermarket decals from Modeltruckin.com instead. The AMT kit decals are incorrect for the first trailer and the trailer is incorrect for the second movie's trailer. It is a mix of the two, a trailer (I think Great Dane) to represent the Hobbs trailer from the first movie but the decals represent the decals found on the second movie's silver trailer.

none of them have pictures of either movie on the front

or anything like that

look at the little pictures on kit description page

then click on 'buy now' and some of the pictures are different

good for seeing if you want to really get the kit
