pepperdrumstix Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 I was spraying some cars and parts yesterday and was using a trick my Dad showed me years ago. When you are done spraying, turn the can upside down and spray untill you see just propelent coming out, no color. This will keep the spray button clear and free of paint. No more looking for a pin or needle to clear out the hole in the button the next time you use that can. It usually just takes a quick spray to clear the hole and you have a clean nozzle to work with next time. I hope this helps, I have been doing this for years and it works for me. PATRICK
thomas LB808 Labanon Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 LOL, My DAD thought me that one too. Been doing it ever since.
mikelo Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 That one is good. The best one I have had with spray cans is putting them in warm water a couple of minutes before spraying. It increases the pressure and helps the paint to even out more (less orange peal).
