n8dogginz Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 (edited) Ok guys, got that camera cord....Idk how much this will update, i have quite afew hobbies and the last few days i have been playin Battlefield 3, and whoever else plays it get at me well squad up! I also play guitar, and work on 1/1's when i get a good excuse to do so! Anyways this model is somethin else, im going to mold the whole front on then re-scribe it because it dont fit together at all. Found a GREAT way to make hinges that leave the hood propped when wanted, instead of brass tubing use 16 gauge speaker wire stripped from its wire with 18 gauge copper wire Hemi and the stockers washed Noticec the hood problem addressed before, gonna try to melt some styrene Borgis suggested to me, well see what happens. ANTONIO WERE GUNNA HAVE US SOME HEADACHES TO ADDRESS! BTW im pretty much goin curbside with this nasty thing, i shaved an impala chassis down and it didnt work out so i said to heck with it and shaved the engine bay/firewall and its just going to be a clean build of a terribad kit, well see what happens! n8dogginz Posted December 23, 2011 Author Posted December 23, 2011 Correction i believe its 10-12 gauge speaker wire.
Mr. Moparman Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 My god, you guys are going to make me drag mine out aren't you?
Tonioseven Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 (edited) YES!!! Although my hood doesn't have the same fitment issues as yours. Mine is ready for paint but I have no idea what color to paint it. Edited December 24, 2011 by Tonioseven
n8dogginz Posted December 28, 2011 Author Posted December 28, 2011 Im torn on how i feel on this one, its either gonna be a backyard resto or brand spankin' new mopar orange, this kit feels like it wants to be a resto, but we'll see how the front end turns out....as you see its pretty gnarly! Also i taped off the gas cap tryin to carve the flash and busted the body line @ rear driver side cuz the masking tape was in the way, like i said iv'e never weathered a project before so this model being poor manufacturing could be great for my first weathering project. Til then ty for checkin it out!
