dpride Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 What about 1/5 or 1/4 scale car models, would they be accepted here ?
Prostreet Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 David, You could post them in the BigBoyz section, I don't think that would be a problem. Other guys have posted 1/10 scale in there.
RodneyBad Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Why not, A model is Model. Welcome aboard.
Qwit Pushin Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Should probably give this some serious thought, as I understand the Smokey Yunick '66 Chevelle was 7/8 scale. (Technically a model?), lol
Terry Sumner Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 So was the Gordy Foust/Ausley's 66 Chevelle!
dpride Posted December 27, 2011 Author Posted December 27, 2011 My 1/4 scale 31 hot rod (of sorts) is....... much shorter than a 1/8 scale TF car. Does that make it more feasible? Will post in a few days.
brad4321 Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Be careful. The Big Boyz section says, "1/8, 1/12, or 1/16". You don't want to anger the over anal everything must go in the proper category police.
DavidChampagne Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 I am a "BIG" fan...LOL. I love building 1/8, 1/12, and 1/16. I just wish I had the patience and skill to build a large scale model. Post it in "GENERAL", "BIG BOYS"...just post it where you feel it best fits. I am dying of curiosity now, so, please hurry and post soon.
DavidChampagne Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 oops. I meant scratch build a really large. scale model.
Harry P. Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Be careful. The Big Boyz section says, "1/8, 1/12, or 1/16". You don't want to anger the over anal everything must go in the proper category police. The whole point of having specific categories is not because we like to cause you problems, wise guy. We have specific categories so that you guys can find specific content more easily. We do it for your benefit... not because we want to be the "category police." But thanks so much for that really helpful message.
