...and so it begins

Just to recap I'm using the drive train, engine/ transmission, under body, and side stripes from AMT's 1967 Shelby G.T. 350, and I'm using the body, interior, rims/ tires, and air filter from AMT's 1968 Shelby G.T. 500, and one of these days I will order the 1967 Mustang coupe kit from Motor City Resin for the roof, interior panels(for the back) and the trunk.

So far I cut the engine bay out of the 67 Shelby, and put some parts together. This is going to be a slower build, but I want to get it right.

Y'know, once you see how good that '67 Mustang coupe body is, you'll probably want to build it. And you may, at that point, elect to use the trunklid area from a common AMT '66 coupe body, along with a '65-'66 top boot from Modelhaus for your conversion. Doing the rear interior 1/4 panels from Evergreen/Plastruct is no big deal, and the total work involved is the same or less than using the resin body parts. Just a thought...
