Have a look at the CLYDES II topic lower in this forum. It seems to be a V8 Cat 3408. I haven't seen a 3408 in 1:25 scale kit form except for the ones already in Revell's Kenworth W900 or Australian T900. May be if you ask nicely somebody around might step up for an offer...

It's a Twin turbo charged Cummins.

A few years ago a member on another model truck forum mentioned there what the exact model engine it was. He drove a truck that was equipped w/ that engine and said it was disapointing. I too am working on the Bill Signs kit myself (for the last 5 months) and because of the inaccuracies of that kit compared to the 1:1 I'm just building it to my likes. The chassis has still to be completed (yes it's been 5 months give or take a few days and the chassis isn't done!) But I was thinking semi gloss black chassis w/ a bright yellow cab. I think the yellow will look good w/ all the chrome accoessories. (I'm thinking about stripping the chrome except for the stacks and using aluminum plate metallizer).

There are several Bill Signs Peterbilts that look very similiar to each other. If you are refering to the "Clydes II" that the Revell kit replicates. That truck had a Cat3408 turbocharged V8 motor in it. I'm pretty sure it was repowered at a later time though. You can get the Cat 3408 from any of the Revell Kenworth W900 kits.
