Scottnkat Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Bartster - just a note to clarify - when I do those cars, I'm going to have to do some scratchbuilding for things such as the rollbar, seat, etc. I haven't done that before. This is why I was thinking of doing that dual build I mentioned earlier. By doing the two cars together, I can use the Polar Lights Talladega while learning to scratchbuild the parts for the Revell/Monogram Torino. Once I've learned how to do what I want to, then I will feel comfortable that I can do what I need to on the other cars that I wanna build.
Bartster Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Scott, That makes a lot of sense. The Torino should be a nice challenge, I'll watch that as well. Mopar or no car will have to be put aside......Just for a minute!!!!!
Scalper Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I am loving this build. Nice job on the hood pins. Foil trim looks great . nice engine work. this one has it all. Thanks for sharing.
Scottnkat Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 Well, here's some pics of the car 99% done. If you wanna see the completed car, go check out the Under Glass forum:
