Dirkpitt289 Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 I'm relatively new to modeling (Feb will be 4 years since my return) but even newer to cars. Since I've been back I've spent all my time building military aircraft. So now that I've been bit by the auto bug I have some questions. When it comes to aircraft there are literally tons of places to get aftermarket decals allowing a builder to build the same kit over and over without building the same aircraft. Is the same thing possible with cars? Is there a source to get different decals to make different cars? At the moment I'm looking to see if I can find the Boss 302 "C" stripe for a newer Boss mustang. I can only imagine there are so many sites for thousands of different race cars as well. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
monkeyclaw Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 you can apply that aircraft modelers strategy very easily .....just build Nascars............Matt
Rob McKee Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 There are a few aftermarket companies out there for car modellers. Check out Model Car Garage for a start. There is much much more available to the aircraft modeller in the aftermarket.
