Dom87SS Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 thanks guys, took me a few hours to get it to look dimensionally correct and the first run were close but needed a little adjustment which when you move 1 thing you gotta move 10 other things as well so it took a few more hours over te weekend to get it done. Hope it fits, i wont know till i get home. Those look great... They look like the 1:1 billet intakes from Berry thats what i modeled it after. i also did a replica of their billet intercooler as well i will be using on this car.
Prostreet Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Those Intake's Look great Dom. You do some very nice work.
Dom87SS Posted February 13, 2012 Author Posted February 13, 2012 Hadnt touched this ina while. But this weekend i put a few more bars in, did some cutting on the body, and made my first wing
1320wayne Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Updates look good. Nice clean detail on the sratchbuilt items.
outlaw105 Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Looks great Dom, I also like the strutless wing.
tyrone Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Looks Awesome.... the side shot is a slam dunk...
Dom87SS Posted February 13, 2012 Author Posted February 13, 2012 Thanks guys, appreciate the comments
tooltas Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 no sonny hemi heads i would have used the ls9 thats in the zr1 an thats a killer motor as it is
Dom87SS Posted February 13, 2012 Author Posted February 13, 2012 It's a Sonny's canted valve motor, not hemi heads. And a LS9 doesn't make a 1/3 of the power needed to run a outlaw car.
Mister Twister Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Nice clean detail work....Keep at it!
Dom87SS Posted June 8, 2012 Author Posted June 8, 2012 been a while since i even thought about this thing, but for some reason i decided to do a little (very little) work on it. i designed a TH400 trans for it in CAD and printed them out today at work and here is the result. im pretty happy so far but may need to make some adjustments to get it too look better..
comp1839 Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 looks excellent dom. you're doing some serious work on this. love the manifold and the turbos.
Dom87SS Posted January 8, 2013 Author Posted January 8, 2013 another long span of non work, but I picked upa little bit this weekend. Finally got around to starting the rear frame section, still a long long way to go. Maybe the chassis will get done this winter.
