Did this for a online contest, it was a blast to build...started out as a vacuum formed 86 dodge diplomat, everything except the steering wheel and front tires were scratch built or aftermarket parts!

That definitely is a derby car, what a crazy cool model. I can't believe how convincing all the twisted panels look. Wicked job on this one.

Both look great, but especially the 1/24 scale one.

How did you do the wrecked body, i think because its vacuumed formed that you just heated the body up and pushed in the dents, but I'm not sure.

Actually, I vacuum formed it in lexan, so after I trimmed it out, I balled it up, like a snow ball, then carefully straightened it out, and tweaked it here and there.
