deja-view Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 (edited) Hi, new here. I installed an avatar/profile pic, then changed it due to the cropping problem. Even though I have deleted the first pic, and then loaded and checked the second pic as a replacement, the first pic keeps coming back. Anyone know why or how to update to the pic I want? aarondupont Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Ken: I'm not real savy on this stuff. But I just added my photo. Go back to the section where you added the photo. Check to see if the photo you changed to is still there. If not then put it in again. When done with that section it'll go back to the page you started on. Scroll down and click Save Changes. Try that. Hope that helps. Aaron Dupont
deja-view Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 (edited) Nothing seems to get rid of the original. I'll try a URL pic. Nope. That wouldn't even recognize the server. Edited January 16, 2012 by deja-view
Jon Cole Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 I suggest you first check to see if your new photo is too big. Try re-sizing it. Best way to do that is to use a photo host site, such as Photobucket.
deja-view Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 I picked one that fit all the little blocks and was apparently accepted. It shows up in all three places when I make the change, and it seems to work when I clik on "done", but when I go back to (or reopen any page) the original page the same pic of the Mclaren is still there. I wonder if I'm gonna have to completely take out my profile and start over.
deja-view Posted January 17, 2012 Author Posted January 17, 2012 Aaron; Check this out. Unbelievable. http://travelb.priceline.com/travelguides/tglistings.do?attrType=cheap-hotels-cat-lo-khanh-hoa&pageType=A&prms=c342414&rdr=1
Kaleb Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 I had trouble changing mine as well. I just kept fighting with it. And it eventually changed over.
scalenut Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 are you guys refreshing the forum page? ...if you click backwards it might not show the change, just a guess
deja-view Posted January 17, 2012 Author Posted January 17, 2012 (edited) are you guys refreshing the forum page? ...if you click backwards it might not show the change, just a guess BINGO! Thanks Andy. You have to refresh the whole "change" page after clicking on the "done" box. Edited January 17, 2012 by deja-view
